Lifting of Heavy Goods & Equipments is a common function across all heavy industry. Tower Cranes, Crawler Cranes & Other Mobile cranes are used for these functions, but when the heights are unreachable and the materials are on the heavy side, such winches are used for the operation.
Some of the features that we provide are explained below:-
- Speed reduction using Helical Gearbox for maximum load taking ability and long lasting. Load is divided into different gears in Helical Gearbox whereas in Worm Gearbox maximum load is taken by a single Worm Wheel which is not suitable in case of Load more than 10MT. 1st Stage reduction is done using Helical Gearbox and 2nd Stage using Spur Gear & Pinion for better longevity.
- Transmission of torque from gearbox to rope drum through Coupling for long lasting of gearbox.
- Open Gears are covered with S. Sheet to protect the gears from foreign particles and human safety.
- Winches are provided with VFD( Variable Frequency Drive) for speed reduction and acutely stopping and placing the material. VFD Drives are modern and effective system for achieving 100% speed reduction rather than the old system of reducing speed using Slip Ring Motor and Resistance Box.
- Limit Switch is used to stop the motor after material has reached a certain height.
- Additional Manual Brake is provided for safety.
- Ratchet Lever Brake is provided for immediately stopping the rope drum from rotating at emergency situations.
We provide Electric Winches with the following specifications:-
- Capacity: 1MT to 100MT
- Rope Drum: Made from M.S. Plate rolled/Pipe of adequate thickness. Drum is machined with smooth finish to avoid damage of wire rope.
- Reductions: 1st Stage using Helical Gearbox and 2nd Stage using Spur Gear and Pinion Base Frame: Shall be fabricated using Rolled Steel Sections with anchoring arrangement.
- Brake: Electro Hydraulic Thruster Brake mounted between Motor & Gearbox on Flexible Brake Drum Geared Coupling along with Emergency Manual Brake & Ratchet Pawl System.
- Motor: Crane Duty (S4) , 960 RPM Induction , TEFC,AC 415V Motor shall be used of Crompton/ Marathon/ BBL Make.
- Electric Control: Using Pendant Push Button/ Panel Box
- Painting: One coat of red oxide and two coats of golden yellow shall be made.
